I honestly look for this to be legal within the next 15 years. I will not agree with it if it is called marriage, but I can see that happening.Gay marriage
This one I also see happening, and I have no problem with it.Gays in the military
I see no change for the better here. Most likely it will be status quo or worseRelations with the Middle East
I think we will still be debating this for many years to come.Abortion
Saddens me to say it, but the illegals here will be given citizenship status, sooner rather than later. Why we do not feel the need to enforce our laws is beyond meImmigration (legal and illegal)
The system will be in worse shape than it is now, costs will be even higher, and the debate on what to do will be even more divided than it was the last time.Health Care
I agree that the Illegals will be given some sort of Amnesty. The Dems love stuffing their voter pool with these illiterates, and the Repubs have to give a Happy-Ending to the donors/lobbies that depend on the cheap Labor. It only makes sense that both parties will eventually have a backroom circle-J party to come to a mutual agreement, the current immigration hoopla is nothing more than wagging the dog.
Gay marriage THE NORM
Gays in the military THE NORM
Relations with the Middle East WE WILL BE PART OF THE MIDDLE EAST
Abortion MANDATORY AT THE DIRECTION OF THE KING
Immigration (legal and illegal) THE TERM DOESNT EXIST
Health Care PLENTIFUL, EVERYONE WILL GET FREE ASPIRIN BEFORE FORCED EXECUTION AT 50

Mark my words. The American economy will only start to recover when it sees the Community organizer headed out the door or a conservative Congress in place to stop the great Marxist. And even then he will try to take credit for what has been nothing but failure.
There will be very few if any humans alive after the disaster of december 21st 2012.
No need to buy christmas gifts soon
Gay marriage - legal in 40/50 states
Gays in the military - no issue
Relations with the Middle East - just as bad as they are now
Abortion - status quo
Immigration (legal and illegal) - Arizona law will be ruled constitutional, half of states will have adopted it. No change on the federal level. Legal immigration - status quo
Health Care - We will be debating a switch to single payer as costs continue to skyrocket.
But in 15 years, I could see this country being split in two.

Please let me be in the red....
Edit: by the way, I know the way you use it, but as a Christian, at least from what I have gathered, you dont find that offensive? At least a little to your faith? Maybe not offensive, as a Christian, I dont really care, but I wouldnt use it as a slam on conservatives as a Christian either. Just curious.

I beleve although it may not be the end of the world many of us may wish it were.
Theres going to be a mid east war that will spread across the world.......
also theres a large number of earth crossing asteroids, any one of which could cause a disaster here.
plus companies care about nothing but profit, BP is a great example of that......
Love the topic.....
Gay marriage - Legalized at the federal level.....many States upset, but they'll be SOL.
Gays in the military - Permitted with not much fanfare.....
Relations with the Middle East - Some things will never change.
Abortion - No change in the law. Both sides will be arguing the same points we've been arguing for the past 20 years.
Immigration - I can't even guess......hopefully for us, illegals will still be trying to pour into the Country as that would mean prosperous times for the USA.
Health care - Costs so out of control that people will be more open to the idea of "rationing" either by Ins. Cos or the govt.
Who hates us now that liked us before Bush? I would say that tensions are higher because of the war, but feelings toward the US are pretty much the same as they were. If anything, the ones that have cooled towards us are our biggest ally in the region (Israel), and that is a fairly recent development. This will never change. IF anything, since the last president, we have created MORE enemies than friends and it will take decades before we have the trust we had before the previous president
I find far more offensive the ideas that people that live in that red area have about Christianity. The idea the the US is somehow God's chosen nation (Acts 10:34,35). The idea that he expects us to enforce his laws on others. (Rom. 12:19-21) The idea that God is punishing the poor and rewarding the rich, and that we should love money because it is a sign of God's blessing (Matt 19:24, 1 Timothy 6:61, Matt 6:24). And so on. Many of the "Christians" that live in the red area are the most ungodly people around.
