• Financial Reform passes Seante 60 - 38

    In a victory for President Barack Obama, the Senate passed financial reform today by a vote of 60 - 38. Republicans Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Susan Collins of Maine and Olympia Snowe of Maine all voted for the bill.
    Only one member of the Democratic caucus, Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) voted against the bill, arguing it would fail to prevent another financial crisis.
