Yeah, that is a great thought, but it is nothing more than a dream. Personally, I do not like the idea of giving up our when we can not be sure others follow suit. We are dependant on our nuclear deterent now, and will be even more so in the future against the new threats that are starting to gain strength.

first we dont need to kill the world a 100 times over, a small nuclear deterence of 50 or 100 nukes would be plenty.

besides using them at all would likely kill the planet.

conventional forces can kill any country.

I Agree Bob, but would keep more as they maybe able to shoot down 50. Let's keep about 500. The rest can go.
