In most cases carl, the little guy needs to help himself. Why should you or I be responsible for someone that will not try to make his or her own situation better?

I believe they should work too...but some people need help getting started through no fault of their own.

True, and I support the food stamp program for them, however it is one of the most abused systems we have. People that DO NOT need it, but can get it for whatever reason will continue to ride the train as long as we let them. I am not for that in any way, shape, or form.
