That's not an opinion, that's a fact...head down to what's left of New Orleans and anyone would see that amount of abuse on the system. 4 years since Katrina and these people still can't get a job?!?!?!?!

Bob, while that is the POINT of the program, one would be pretty naive to think that a parent in the situation that we are talking about actually cares enough to do the right thing

Also, if that is the case, perhaps the parents should not have the kids.

I have people that work for me, and if they get too many hours to work, they try to go home early everyday or if I don't let them, they call off.

I think they have it figured out that they can only work X amount of hours, if they go over that they will make too much money to get foodstamps.

Now I can't prove this, but it is funny that this happens every week.

This other guy that works for me takes all the hours he can, he lost his foodstamps when his son got a job. He said "I would rather make the money working than trying to scam the system".

I understand what you mean. I have several like that also. Which is one reason this subject gets under my skin. I KNOW how some of these people are, they are just flat out lazy. I also know how some of them are really just in a bind for whatever reason, but are willing to bust their ass to get out of it.

I sure could use the extra money to buy food, It gets hard every week, but I for one don't like someone that abuses the system when they don't need to, plus we always find the money for food.

You don't think we should help people:(?That is for charitable organizations like the church, not for our taxpayer dollars to feed and cloth people who have never paid a dime in taxes. Single people that go without working for 2 years should lose citizenship. The poor that reproduce should be drafted into the military if they want their kids fed.
