Haha, that is true. Not only that, they have our former coach (Bill Curry), and one of our 4 star qb recruits that transfered out this season (Star Jackson).

Mississippi IS a long word. M, I, crooked letter, crooked letter...you know the rest.

But somehow, the word "Mississippi" is misspelled on football tickets printed by the University of Alabama for the team's Nov. 13 game vs. Mississippi State.

It's missing a "p," or a humpback, if you're keeping track.

A media relations spokesperson called the snafu an "unfortunate oversight" during the editing process.

Most single-game tickets will be corrected, university spokesman Doug Walker told the AJC. But season tickets have already been distributed.

Maybe college football fans will cut the Crimson Tide some slack for the spelling error. The team is, after all, a national champion.
Or is that "chamion?"
