I vote for the 1961 Alabama team. Smothering Defense. They outscored opponents 297 - 25, and finished 11-0

I would have to say the 1987 Miami Hurricanes. Went undefeated, won the National Championship and had a record 12 players drafted in the 1st round. NEVER DONE before.

1995 Nebraska also deserves to make the list.
I would also put the 1992 Bama team up there pretty high. That was another fantastic defense.
