It has nothing to do with your welfare, but everything to do with his political ego regardless of how much it costs YOU

well the republicans want nothing to happen, both sides are hunkering down, forgetting they work FOR THE PEOPLE, rather than for the lobbyists who bought their votes:(

Dead horse...but....TERM LIMITS

our country is well on its way to collapse.

with gridlocked bought and paid for congress our unemployment rate will go up futher, 25% long term rate.

the economy will cycle down, with double foreclosure current rate, contiuning to collapse manufaturing and long term just bad.

once it gets that bad, we the people will rise up and try something new. since obviously the current system is a failure

I agree. But care to name one presidential candidate that has come out in favor of term limits?

I am not saying that any have. It is just something that I think would help with several of the problems that we have had in the past, and will have in the future if left as is.

Wasn't it you who suggested State legislatures call for a constitutional convention? I really like that idea - - - - The states forcing term limits on the feds.

excellent idea. You know such a action even as a possiblity might get congress moving again.

Trouble is if your state legislature is anything like pennsylvanias, its full of graft, corruption, and wanabee congressmen, who only want to line their pockets.

I still think if a large number ofAMERICANS returned their census for with NO INFO AVAILABLE, or perhaps better CONGRESS DO YOUR JOB, and no other info.

Things would change...........
