If your unhappy with the government just REFUSE to be counted for the census?

Just tell them NO INFO AVAILABLE.

Seems everyone is unhappy for one reason or another:( And with all the foreclosures etc counting will be tough as is.

Wonder what the feds would say if this idea caught on and 1/4 of all citizens plain OUTRIGHT REFUSED to provide any info?

call it the ultimate tea party protest

so no one thinks a good tax tea protest would be messing with the census?

No? Id much prefer we speak In Nov. And vote EVERY SINGLE INCUMBENT out of office. That would be the biggest message ever sent to the government.

yeah sure whatever.......
the congressmen who bring in the bacon pork to areas always get re elected.

this would be a different kind of protest and hurt no one while sending a real message

It sends no message.. The only message they will listen to is losing their job. Like so many Americans have done.

Go right ahead and deny your state representation.

a nationwide boycott of the census would be a earth shattering event, and get governments attention

All that will do is waste money. An enumerator will come out, and if there can be no response compelled, they will just guess as to the number of occupants.

Why should people boycott one of the things constitutionally required of the Federal Gov't in order to protest them not bailing out people who got behind on their agreed upon mortgage payments or anything else they maybe unhappy with?

If anything, boycott something that isn't constitutionally required.

If anything, boycott something that isn't constitutionally required. Like mandatory health care insurance. :)
