The world court needs a trial of all parties involved.
Bush clearly broke international law, he deserves prison time
or everyone tortured should be released.

I actually agree with left on this, it was torture and torture is indefensible. All lawyers that scripted "the backdoor" to allow this should be waterboarded 200 times in one month until they admit it was torture.

all individuals who ordered or passed on orders should proscueted to the full extent of the law.
jail time will discourage future torture...........
all tortured must be released, including the masterminds.

Now, Bob, I agree we need to set an example so this doesn't happen again, but releasing Al Qaeda in the USA is a little crazy! Don't ya' think?

send them back to their home countries and let them handle it..........
If this is allowed to stand it could happen to any american in a foreign country:(
While visting any country you or a member of your family get picked up, detaineed with no legal rights at all, endless tortured and held forever, heck your family isnt even told your being held?
bush violated so many laws, to keep his sorry ass out of jail all detainees should be released.
their treatment just led to more terrorist recruits:(

That's why I wont leave the country. I refuse to get a passport, I've seen foreign countries before, don't need to see them again.

Bush clearly broke international law, he deserves prison time
or everyone tortured should be released. It was not torture under US law. Obama will let us all die rather then drop some water on a terrorist.

I think they should have shot them on the battlefield and been done with this BS. As to the waterboarding being torture, we do it to our own troops in training. Spare me the torture crap. I would not have a problem with them beat the tar out the muslim nutjobs that planned 9/11.

I don't have a problem with it either, the fools were just stupid to get caught.

some were caught taking public transit, and after a year of interogation found not guilty of anything more than being in the wrong place at the wrong time, oh they fit the description so those turning them in made money.
not only were they wrongly improsined and tortured, some were guilty of nothing and never released.
hey indefinite detention and torture might help solve crimes here in our country.........
should the police start using it?
along with universal ID and DNA wouldnt we be safer?
where do you set the line?
If a sleep[er cell of US citizens say a bunch of timothy mc veighs appeared to have plans should torture be used here?

I don't think torture should be "legal", but that is what the C.I.A. is for. They have been torturing for the beginning, they just were never stupid enough to get caught.
If they catch a terrorist suspected of planning an attack, they should use any means necessary. There are just some things the public doesn't need to know.
