As pay falls, CEOs get more perks

Granted, pay is down 7%, but perks are up 7%. Seems to send the wrong message.

If the company didn't get bailout money, then they should be allowed to do whatever they want privately concerning pay and perks. But you class envy folks just can't handle that someone else is making more money than you, its sad, maybe one day you will be happy with your life.

I agree. Private companies should not be limited by the gov on what perks or pay they wish to give their employees.

What about companies that did get bailout money?

Also, I'm sorry, but you can't convince me that a company spending $400k on financial planning for their $30M exec isn't excessive.

Its their money, why do you care? You see, that's the problem with socialism, private enterprise is no longer private.

Then I think it depends on what was in the contracts with their employees before they got the money. Done the way they did AIG, I do not agree with. Had they addressed the bonus issue before money changed hands, then I would be willing to listen.

Maybe, however it is THEIR money do do that with. I am sure there are things that you or I do that someone not as well off would consider excessive. However it is my money to spend, who are they to tell me I can not?

If the government doesnt have voting control on the board of the company then they should tell Obama and his ACORN army to go pound sand.

You are the first person to mention Obama and ACORN. What is your point?
