President Obama warned Democrats in Congress today not to "jam" a health care reform bill through now that they've lost their commanding majority in the Senate, and said they must wait for newly elected Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown to be sworn into office.

His presidency and the future of many in Congress is on life support. This is all this pathetic failure has left. He can now blame the republicans for his failure with Brown in the Senate. Its what Obama does best. With ACORN and in his book and his church he blamed the white man. During the campaign he blamed Bush. After the campaign he blames Bush. Now he has a new excuse.

YouTube- Burning Down The House: What Caused Our Economic Crisis? Bombshell (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RZVw3no2A4)I would totally agree with this video!! Problem is bush was president for the last 8 years with the majority votes. He could not change anything in 8 years!?:augentreher:

Doesn't matter who sits in the big house. There will be no real change until spending decreases. Really decreases. Not more of the "We wanted a 10% increase increase in spending but only got 5% so we cut spending by 5%". Only in DC...

Actually only 4. Jeffords switched in early '01 and gave the Democrats the Senate for almost 2 years until the '02 election. Democrats later got both houses of Congress in '06.
Personally I hope for a repeat of '92. Our gov't tends to do better when it's divided, that way nobody can pass their hairbrained schemes and actually have to work together

You are welcome to hope for a repeat of the '94 midterms. In that case, I, for one, hope for a repeat of the '94-'00 Clinton administration successes.

agreed....i think you will see a massive shake up of much more fiscally conservatives candidates win in 10'. I think the GOP might even take back the house.

Every single Senator and Rep. should go. Nearly all of them belong solely to the party of greed and live to serve the corporate oligarchy. We continue to vote for them because they fool us into thinking there are two distinct parties with different values. WAKE UP AMERICA!

One of the more positive things I heard about Brown is a supposed support of term limits. Unfortunately, I bet that goes out the window real fast.
