Whites-Only Basketball League

A whites-only basketball league aims to launch in twelve cities this summer, according to a report (http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/2010/01/19/nba_563760.shtml)in the Augusta Chronicle. The All-American Basketball Alliance would also ban players born outside the United States.

The league's commissioner, Don "Moose" Lewis, claims that he doesn't "hate anyone of color. But people of white, American-born citizens are in the minority now." Thus, he says, the All-American Basketball Alliance would be "a league for white players to play fundamental basketball, which they like."

I really hate the way this story is being reported.
Drudgereport right now says "whites only basketball league announced in Georgia" .

It makes it sound like the people of georgia came up with the idea
. The organization wants a team in Augusta, and the Augusta Chronical reported the story first from what I have seen.

The mayor of Augusta said he didnt think this idea would fly in his city.

Pure shock headlines to make people click. Sad.
