Seriously though.
What do you think about this?
Could be scary, could be nothing

Notice that here in the US the people who have it are just getting sick and are not kicking the bucket, however in Mexico over 100 dead there.

Whats the difference? Why is this deadly flu killing people in Mexico but only giving fever and coughing symptoms here in the USA.

I think this flu operates in conjunction with some other things, such as surroundings and the old saying that you always here when going to Mexico... 'Don't drink the water.'

BTW for the last week here in the Hartford CT area we have had to drink bottled water as there is something in the drinking water that requires you boil it before drinking it. They cant figure out where these microorganisms are coming from.

This has been hell for my wifes Boston Market resturants... they have to buy trucked in ice from out of town, and they can't sell fountain soda so have been having to stock up on 2 liter bottles which is a hell of a lot more expensive then what fountain soda costs.

I think it will be a little scare, but its good to see the world mobilize when something of this nature happens.

I was wondering about the difference here and in mexico as well. Interesting to see what reasons they come up with for that.

Dang, sucks for your wife

I think its much about nothing for the states. People in America go to the doctor regularly, well I don't, they get flu shots, well I don't, while in Mexico people probably don't go to the doctors.

How about simply frequency of infection? Only a few people in America have got it yet (mostly young kids on spring break), while there are probably a lot more people in Mexico to have got it, probably in that targeted 20-40 age group.

I wonder about when government would pull the pin and stop travel to slow the spread?

Just flew in last night from phoenix we could of been stranded there for the duration.

air and rail travel would be easy to stop, vehicles much more difficult.

wonder what the feds plans are?

Probably to screw it up like they do everything else.

Well, for those who thought there have been no death in the US, this may now be in doubt. No confirmation, but it seems to fit the pattern. People in their middle ages, 33 and 45.

Yeah, I was seeing that too. Hopefully it was something else.
