Wow....that is a surprise. Talk about opening a seat for the coming election. That seat was solid (D) and would now be favored (R) if a viable candidate emerges IMO.

I wonder if Dodd's cancer is worse than they thought it was going to be.

Didn't know he had cancer.....but, I do know that Dodd was getting slaughtered in the polls late last year. The libertarian Peter Schiff has been making quite a stir up there and will be running for his seat.

I've been a fan of Schiff since he was nearly laughed off the stage on Fox News when he predicted the housing crash.

Schiff would be a victory for all Americans. Especially the Tea-Party movement.

I wonder what his campaign message is......for awhile (I'm assuming before he became a candidate) he was basically saying the Country is f'ed and there's not a lot we can do about it.
