A doll found hanging off of a building in Plains is causing controversy.

Controversial enough to get the United States Secret Service involved.

Witnesses say it was an image of President Barack Obama with a rope around his neck and the display was found hanging in one of the city's most recognizable sites dedicated to former President Jimmy Carter.

A few people were able to snap pictures of the black doll before it was taken down.

The doll was hanging on a building on Main Street in Plains.

Chad Michael Morrisette thought it would be fun to throw a little politics into his Halloween decorating this year since the holiday comes only four days before the presidential election.

For weeks the life-size mannequin of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin that hung from a noose around its neck in front of Morrisette's West Hollywood home caused little controversy.

I was wondering what the response would be after the non outrage over the Palin/Mcain part.

Someone has to prove to me that it looks like OBAMA first and it needs to be more than they all look the same.

Well the Palin thing is on someones private property. The Obama thing is on public property.. That is the difference.

I think both were wrong, no matter their social standing, or perception in anyones mind.
