Don't you guys see what is happening here? We are letting government say what happens in our private sector. Yeah, we gave them money, and something needs to change with how they operate, it does not work, but this is sad. It is going to be one government run mess before long.

More regulation on top of regulation, more civil liberties lost at the cost of fairness...sounds like some socialist liberal is running the gov't!! :Shh:

Sometime soon we'll be hearing about ending presidential term limits. Man, I hope I'm wrong on this one. :(

This administration just may have crossed the last line of restraints before we go over the dam. Change it is.. The problem is that most people out there have not a clue what just happened.
If any of you have seen the cable and buoys across a river just before a dam as the last marker before being caught up in the overpowering current,, you know what I say.

They are government puppet companies now You have chills?? I'm guessing you may not have seen this kind of government first hand.. I have seen....I had those chills when he got elected.. Now I'm down right frightened with this awful deja vu feeling.. . The die is cast..Its even out of Congresses hands now. They gave him these powers in the Stimulus and the Pork Bill.

I'm not a Bob Haller Apocalypse harbinger with a great imagination. This is something to be really concerned about. History is replete with examples of these kinds of power grabs. All horribly failed... for the populace. Not ONE ever succeeded. I personally watched up close and personal the biggest one failing. It wasn't pretty.

Heard about it at towards the end of Reagan and Clinton. Will never happen, as 30 States are needed to ratify, not counting the 2/3'rds of Congress in the first place.

You have the feeling this happened before? When?

You have the feeling this happened before? When?I saw the agony of the USSR and the Eastern Euro bloc, Hungary, Poland, and East Germany, from the mid 60s to the end of the 70s first hand. The economic destruction and killings of Brazil from 1964 to 1985 and Venezuela and Chevas's rise.. I also watched in person the lost decade of despair in the 70s of our own country. Japan's lost decade going on two. Let me put it this way. I have seen this before and its Deja Vu al over again.
