I think that is in poor taste to our military who are not serving for the money. Joking that they give their lives for 50 grand is classless.

I agree. Some are. I just do not see how this one is.

IF it were joking about THEM, why would it say RIP, and call them heroes?

Maybe I am looking at it wrong (but I do not think so)

Anyone else want to chime in?
Do you think it is offensive to our soldiers?

It looks to me like it's saying that the ones many see as heroes are getting all the glory and the money while the ones who made it possible by making the ultimate sacrifice are getting the shaft.

No, I'm not offended and I come from a military family. This wasn't making a joke about our Military.

To me, it sheds light on who the real hero's are in this world and how little they are compensated in return for doing something WAY more important. It just shows how backwards things are, that's all.
