they closed the University of Wisconsin today for the first time in 20+ years. We have over a foot and it is still snowing hard.

We were at 17" about an hour ago and it is still dumping. Gov. closed all public colleges and declared state of emergency.
Biggest storm i remember in almost 20 years.
as you can see from the first photos....we did not have hardly any when this started.

I love snow storms and the weather in general. I've been tracking the development of this one for 2+ weeks. The early computer models had it hitting me here in Cleveland...I was disappointed when it became clear it was going into the plains. Enjoy the Snow! It looks awesome.
