Use fresh tyme, garlic, olive oil, fresh ground pepper, and maybe some applewood smoked sea salt. Chop garlic & tyme, lightly coat the steaks with olive oil, and smear the tyme/garlic all over the steaks. Coat with fresh ground pepper and applewood smoked sea salt. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for a day. I usually make the day before.

Grill them up!:hungry:

Yeah, it does a great job of tenderizing the steak, and it puts a great flavor in it.

1/2 cup bottled steak sauce ( I use A1, but some worshtishire sauce is good too)
1/4 cup bourbon whiskey (or more ;) )
1 tablespoon honey
Dashes of salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you like ( I like tonys season salt, ect)
Add a splash of Dales Steak Seasoning if you have it. Just a little, it goes a long way.

Mix together and marinate with your steaks for at least an hour. More if able.

Cook as you prefer.

Edit: I use the honey to add a slight sweetness to the steak and to coat them, but that is optional. Sugar adds the sweetness if you have no honey,

I am doing bourbon steak tonight, but it is different

I am using Coke and bourbon as a soak for an hour or so. Then add some seasoning. Salt, pepper, ect

Then grill while pouring the remaining marinade over the steak.

how was it?

Turned out good.

We did that, and I also took some snap beans, wrapped them in bacon, stuck a toothpick through and seasoned. Then put them in the oven for an hour. Tasty!

The wife also did twice baked potatos...mmmmm
