Letting hedge fund managers manipulate the market for personal benefit at the expense of other is the solution?
What do you propose?

Honestly, I can see this going much farther than that. It usually starts out that way. We need just enough power to do "this". Then, well now we need a little more, you do not mind do you? So on and so forth. There has to be a stopping point. Fact is, we have measures in place to prevent most of what has happend. People simply ignore them, and become greedy, and here we are.

That is precisely why government and its regulations are not the answer. We have regulations on top of regulations and the mess still happened. Government's "fix"? More regulation! How could anyone seriously think even more regulation is the answer? Will it ever reach a point where people wake up and say "This ain't working"! If they do, will it be too late if it isn't already?

Once the government takes over enogh businesses NO ONE will invest in them since the government can change the rules at the stroke of a pen. That will be the end of our markets, a day Obama dreams of.
