I know its not. Because unlike the myth the idiot "drill here drill now" people were saying. These small little additions have little effect on the market. We have cut back on our consumption and the prices have thus been reflected in the price of oil. Conservation has brought the cost of oil down. (Now its not conservation by choice, much is because of the economy.) But just imagine if we all were more smart in our driving habits how cheap gas would be. Yea know doing simple things have checking the air in your tire or keeping your vheicles maintenence up to date...

Yea know doing simple things have checking the air in your tire or keeping your vheicles maintenence up to date... Thats a tired argument and disingenuous in face of the facts.. There is no single well, area, or country that supplies the majority of oil. All the oils comes from "small additions" to the sum. Adding all these "small additions" all up is what supplies our oil. Not to mention that Alaska oil (light) has higher yield of gasoline and heating oils than heavy crude from the middle east..

We should be saving our resources. They are not finite.. Then when the rest of the world runs out they will be begging us for some.

We should be saving our resources. They are not finite.. Then when the rest of the world runs out they will be begging us for some. At the rate they are discovering vast oil reserves... When the rest of the world runs out, the world will no longer be on oil.. Except maybe a few third world banana republics like the USA.
