Actually... The problem is that anyone with qualifications would naturally be a successful Capitalist free marketeer with Wall Street experience and Success. Who like that could morally put aside their convictions and work for this rich-hunting, anti business, anti capitalist, anti Wall Street, anti Success Socialist Regime. The only people Obama can attract are Liberal ideological Bureaucrats losers just like like Turbo Tax Tim that have never had a real job or have even ran a Lemon-Aid Stand. That pretty much nails it. All the Washington-types had Keynesianism shoved down their throats in school and they think government intervention is the answer to all economic problems. Thy are willing to bet the economy on a theory called the Keynesian multiplier, but I don't think even they really believe it will work. It's just cover for Obama's agenda of growing the role of the federal government.

People who say the government isn't intervening enough or regulating enough are ignoring the fact that the government consumes 20+% of GDP. The expansion Obama proposes will increase that and move us closer to a totalitarian government where nothing is outside its sphere and jurisdiction. Freedom will be a distant memory. Change we can believe in. :pleur:

I still hold out hope that "the" birth certificate will be leaked. That is, if it hasn't already been taken care of the same way Ted Kennedy's expired license was taken care of immediately after he killed Mary Jo.

Not the original, no. They released a Certification of Live Birth that is computer generated. It doesn't have the birth hospital or the attending physician plus a few other details. Obama could easily produce a copy of the original, called a Certificate of Live Birth, and put it to rest but as yet he hasn't done so. Even Hawaii will not accept the Certification as proof in all cases.

"In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL."

Either that or it was registered as a foreign birth. Not releasing it is highly suspicious---IF it exists. It just doesn't make sense not to release it.
