Does it even matter anymore what our policy is with Iran? Israel is going to bomb them regardless of what the US and Britain think. They aren't going to allow Hamas or Hezbollah to get a nuclear device.

True, and I do not know if I disagree with Israel for it either. I feel sure that the first place Iran will "test" a nuke is on Israeli land

Iran won't test it, its proxy armies will from Lebanon or Gaza.

Obama is right to try each and every option before the military.

Israel can act on its own and has before. Obama's approach to the Middle East is sitting and listening to both sides, the problem with that is both sides don't want peace, both sides want territory.

I do not think that Isreal wants to kill every muslim it can find.

They simply don't have the range to stage such an attack.

The only possible routes are either through Jordan and refueling in Iraq for the rest of the run or somehow staging the attack from the Indian ocean.

True, they would need to refuel in Iraq.

But didn't Israel pull off attacks in Sudan?

Not that I'm aware of. I'd be interested in a source on that if you have one.

Thats interesting. If true it means the planes managed to use Egyptian and Saudi airspace without incident.

I would hope Obama does not let Isreal go off in some half-baked scheme before all avenues are spent.
