This guy comes across as thirsty for blood with these hand picked comments, but I saw this story on Glenn Beck this week. It is really sad. All that he went through and to have these idiots shoot his dog. They deserve the worst possible punishment that we can give them

agreed. I would go after someone if they killed my dog.

Oh I would too. It is not just that they are shooting my pet (which would be enough), it is that they are shooting in the vicinity of my family with intent to kill something. There is no excuse for it, and lord help them if they are actually on my property when I caught them.

What is sad is that they will probably see very little, if any, jail time. I did hear that if they are connected to the other pet shootings in the area, that it could be bumped up to a class 3 felony, which carries a much stiffer penalty.

Luttrell was awarded the Navy Cross for combat heroism in 2006. He is the lone SEAL team member to survive a June 2005 firefight with the Taliban in Afghanistan and was given a dog to help him heal after he returned from the war.

Now that killing is really despicable
