Do they care more about their "Democracy" and fair elections than we do? Some reports are saying that over one million people took to the streets to risk their lives and protest the election.

When Bush won in 2000, half the country was pretty upset, but we did nothing but watch the NFL and Survivor. :)

I doubt it. We dont have the balls(and I am not wanting anything like what is going on over there).

We simply dont. No one here cares that much anymore. At least from what I can see.

when people cant find jobs, taxes run away, and the general economy bad while the wealthy live the good life, young people = college age will begin a revolt. espically if the government starts taking them involuntarily for future wars.

high social security payments from working poor to finance the baby boomers will go far to send our country into a revolution.

the pot is simmering, hasnt come to a boil yet

They don't have a democracy, so comparing them to us is apples and oranges. They live under a theocracy.

That's why I used quotes around the word Democracy, but If you like it better: Do they care more about fair elections than we do?

My same reply still applies.

Call it what you want, and I agree that it is not a true democracy, but the question really does not change.

Sure, they care more, they live under tyranny.
