Send the inmates to Bermuda? Without telling Britian?

Senior aides to President Barack Obama accompanied four Uighur prisoners as they were flown from Guantanamo Bay to the British colony of Bermuda, without the UK being informed, it was revealed yesterday.

Shouldnt we keep our closest ally in the loop on things like this? I mean Bermuda is a British colony isnt it?

It is a territory more or less. They still have some control there, which is why this is causing a stir. It would be like England dumping a bunch of terrorist in P. Rico.

Are these prisoners THAT dangerous that we can't send them to a "regular" jail? Come on people! They are still human! Why are we sending them to their own island? Lock them up in the same penitentiary that houses other felons, murderers and convicted terrorists.
